Pjotr Tchaikovsky published his pedagogical piano pieces op. 39 in 1878 as a response to Robert Schumann’s similar collection 30 years earlier. Even though it is intended for aspiring pianists, playing these compositions on a classical guitar (or even two!) can often be challenging. Here is a tiny sample choice of how this beautiful music can be played on guitars. Arranged and performed by Kristo Käo.
