Similarly to J.S. Bach, Mozart’s father, Leopold, compiled a collection of music by his contemporary composers to educate his family members. Nannerl was the nickname of Wolgang’s sister. She was the one who had initially studied from this notebook. Later, as his little brother grew, some of his pieces also found their way to the collection. We have chosen the ones by the young Mozart, some composed when the genius was just 6–7 years old. Arranged and performed by Kristo Käo.
