How MatchMySound Feedback Technology Works
MatchMySound uses sound recognition to compare two audio recordings: a reference track from the publisher and the learner’s performance. It focuses on sound (pitch, intonation, and articulation) and timing (accuracy and rhythm). The system provides feedback through scores and visual displays, showing where improvements are needed.
During recording, a progress bar shows the learner’s place in the piece. Feedback is given after the learner finishes playing, like when a teacher waits to provide comments until the end. This approach avoids distractions and keeps the learner focused on the music.
What is My Library
My Library is an online platform for storing and playing your MatchMySound sheet music – courses, collections, or even single pieces. You get access to My Library after making your first purchase by receiving an e-mail with all the information you need to sign up. Once you have created an account, log in and start practicing! Fill your library with the content you have chosen, and don’t worry, it never gets full.
